Show menuWildlife at Kildermorie ranges in size from the statuesque red stag with his 'monarch of the glen' attitude to the infamous Scottish midge with even more attitude.
The most prominent animals on Kildermorie are the deer; red deer prefer the open hill, just using trees for shelter in extreme weather conditions, whereas sika enjoy the cover provided by the forested areas.
Since deer feature prominently on other pages, only photos of other types of wildlife are featured here; all were taken by either guests or residents of Kildermorie.
